![]() ![]() This party is a well-oiled exploration machine but somewhat weak in combat if you know what you’re doing you can do well with it.Īn Elf is in front for dexterity, covering Wizard spells as a Druid, with points left over for healing. If you want Sequitu (I), you can go with Bobbit. If you really want a Human somewhere you can make the Druid Human you’ll have slightly better point recovery but worse attacking. We’re back to a Thief for disarming, while the Druid provides efficient healing and the Wizards provide firepower. Their attacks are worse but with 3 Wizards you can handle that. The Cleric is there for Pontori (A), Appar Unem (B), Sanctu (C), Rec Su (E), and Sequitu (I) another option is a Bobbit Druid, who can cast all those spells but regenerates points faster, so they’re more efficient. The bombs in question are Noxum (K) and Necorp (O), but you will also get value from Repond (A), Mittar (B), Dor Acron (D), Dag Mentar (N), and the nameless spell (P). If you’re casting bombs you don’t need strong weapons, so you can take turns with the Wizards while they regenerate magic points. The other way to deal damage is with spells. A Dwarf Cleric will throw daggers, but that’s still better than a Bobbit. A Paladin can’t cast it unless they are a Bobbit, and Bobbits are bad at attacking. The Cleric is there to cast Sequitu (I), which takes you outside of a dungeon. Lark can wield all weapons and cast Wizard spells. With a Cleric and 2 Paladins, we will cast Appar Unem (B) to open chests, and we will max dexterity on the Lark. Here we have dispensed with disarm skills and placed a Lark in the first spot. If you want better casting, make a Lark they don’t have Thief skills but it’s fine with 3 Paladins you can cast Appar Unem (B) to open chests, and you’ll have better attacks it’s a strong lineup. The few extra spells you get from Human aren’t important your most valuable spells will be Repond (Wizard A), Sanctu (Cleric C), and Dor Acron (Wizard D). Ranger is there for attacking and disarming, which means you want dexterity, which means you want an Elf. Many will say that Human is best for Ranger because they have balanced stats, so intelligence and wisdom can both be 75, but Ranger is not there for casting. Don’t fall into the trap of Human Ranger. Ranger can wield a +2 bow, which is close. Paladin is the strongest class overall, because they can wield all weapons and they can heal. Ranger is a combination of a Thief and a Lark, so we have an extra spot for a Paladin. Further variations might include a Dwarf or Bobbit Druid instead of the Lark. For stronger attacks, you can replace the Thief with a Barbarian, who can wield all weapons, and disarm half as well as a Thief. Thief can deal good damage with a bow, but they can’t wield magic bows. The other important factor for disarming traps is dexterity, and Elves can get maximum dexterity, so the Thief is an Elf. The first spot in the party will activate or disarm traps, and Thief is the best at disarming traps, so Thief is in the first spot. ![]()
